Babu Das C, President and Founding Member, Humanite
Babu is a native of Bangalore,Karnataka, specialized in Electrical and Electronics from Bangalore University. He is dedicated to empowering youth by helping them build skills for sustainable employment and improving their families’ economic standards. His technical expertise has facilitated the revival of unutilized wells to supply potable water to schools and communities. Additionally, Babu utilizes yoga as a transformative tool, organizing and conducting yoga classes and life skills training for children and young people in schools and communities.
Jayashree G, Executive Secretary and Founding Member, Humanite
Jayashree G is a native of Bangalore, Karnataka, holding an M.A. in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University and a M.Sc. in Water Science and Policy from Shiv Nadar University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, registered under Mysore University, with a focus on the “Status of Watershed Development under Decentralized Governance in Karnataka”.
Martin, Vice President, Humanite
Martin hails from Dharmapuri district in Tamil Nadu and holds a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication. He is deeply passionate about agriculture and social service, with a special focus on youth development through welfare and personality enhancement programmes.
A.C. Rautray, Treasurer, Humanite
Rautray, from the G. Udayagiri district of Odisha, is currently affiliated with ARASMIN (Association for Rural Area Social Modification, Improvement, and Nestling), a prominent NGO in the region. With over three decades of experience in social work, he is dedicated to the upliftment of society. His unwavering commitment has integrated his professional endeavours with his personal life, making social work a core part of his identity. Through his efforts, Rautray has found immense strength and purpose, exemplifying a life devoted to social transformation.
Anirudha Biswas , Member, Humanite
Anirudha Biswas, from Howrah district in West Bengal, holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University. Currently an independent researcher and consultant, he transitioned from a corporate career to following his passion for research and advanced studies. Known for his problem-solving skills, Biswas showcased his exceptional ability to tackle social challenges during his college years, earning a reputation for his innovative and timely solutions.
Jobin George, Member, Humanite
Jobin George, hailing from the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu, holds an ITI certification in Electrical and Electronics and currently works as a Network Technician. He is passionate about contributing to village development, focusing on guiding students in their career paths, and promoting agricultural initiatives within the community. His technical expertise has facilitated the growth of young people to develop skills and prepare them to take up jobs that are demanding in various industries.
Arul Rosario, Member, Humanite
Arul Rosario is based in Bangalore and is deeply committed to social work. His qualification is B.Com. His passion lies in supporting the upliftment of children, particularly by ensuring access to quality education for underprivileged communities.

Narendra Babu, Member, Humanite
Narendra Babu, hailing from the Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, holds an M.A. in Development from Azim Premji University. He is deeply committed to advancing agriculture and watershed development. His work primarily involves engaging directly with farmers to support their growth and development. Narendra oversees capacity-building training programs, organizes field visits to model agricultural lands, and works at the grassroots level to promote water conservation and management. His expertise lies in implementing and managing watershed development initiatives to ensure sustainable agricultural practices.
Justin R, Member, Humanite
Justin R is based in Bangalore and his educational qualification is Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He is deeply passionate about environmental conservation, with a particular interest in water conservation initiatives.
