Rescued: Black-Necked Spitting Cobra

A Black-Necked Spitting Cobra was recently rescued from one of the city parks, where it had wandered close to human activity. Known for its defensive ability to “spit” venom when threatened, this species plays an important role in controlling rodent populations and maintaining ecological balance.

After a careful and safe rescue, the cobra was released back into its natural habitat—away from human disturbance—where it can continue to thrive.
